New School Preparing to Open Doors in Wilmington

MARCH 5, 2006 -- A new Wilmington high school is getting ready to open in the fall.

An open house was held at Coastal Christian High School Sunday afternoon. The non-denominational school located on George Anderson Dr. is now enrolling students.

Families had the chance to tour the facility and see the uniforms, textbooks and classrooms.

Since the school's informational meeting in January, PPD has donated 25 laptops to the school.

The school administrator will be Kirk Nielson. The folks at Coastal Christian say they're off to a great start. For more information about the school log onto .
