Shamrock Gala Raises Money for Domestic Violence Victims

MARCH 3, 2006 -- A black tie affair this weekend will help brighten the lives of domestic violence victims.

The Shamrock Gala is being held Saturday night in honor of Gail Tice, a Wilmington real estate agent killed by her estranged husband in 2004.

Tice's friends spent time Friday setting up for the event at Landfall. The gala will include a candlelight dinner, cocktails, dancing and there will also be a raffle and a silent auction. All the money raised will go to the Wilmington Domestic Violence Shelter.

There are a few tickets left for the Shamrock Gala. They are $125 or you can buy raffle tickets for $7000 worth of prizes. For more information call Janet Rose at 443-4116.
