Rescue Teams Train on Battleship

FEBRUARY 17, 2006 -- Rescue teams spent two days on the USS Battleship North Carolina.

Fire, rescue, and EMS workers from across the state were working the ropes on the popular tourist spot. They were simulating a rescue from a tall building.

The ropes and pulley system is set up to get people down, as well as workers up. The team also went below deck practicing rescues from confined spaces.
