Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Newspaper Delivery Man

FEBRUARY 13, 2006 -- A man out making early morning newspaper deliveries in the Porters Neck area was involved in a fatal accident with a pedestrian.

Early Sunday morning, investigators say 66-year-old Frank Sutton was walking along Bald Eagle Lane. He was killed when a man driving a Saturn crashed into him. That man, Stephen Lee, is an independent contractor for the Star News. He is being charged with death by motor vehicle.

Lee has delivered papers for the Star News for more than a year.
