Former Wilmington Physicians Assistant Faces Charges

DECEMBER 28, 2005 -- A Wilmington man is being charged by the North Carolina Medical Board for improper medical practice.

Physicians Assistant, Tracey Smith, worked at Crystal River Phychiatry on South 17th street. He is accused of having sexual relations with a patient.

He is also charged with making inappropriate comments and inappropriately touching another patient.

Smith lost his license in August. He is scheduled to go before the board on April 12, 2006.
