Wilmington Preschool Fence Destroyed in Fire

NOVEMBER 16, 2005 -- Parents at a Wilmington preschool are trying to find answers as to what caused part of their fence to go up in flames.

The corner section of the playground fence at Parents Community Preschool caught fire Saturday night. Since that time, that section of the playground has been closed off.

The Wilmington Fire Department says it could have been something as a simple as a lit cigarette. Parents say they know they may never get a complete resolution.

The Wilmington Fire Department has finished investigating the site, and the preschool will be able to rebuild their fence.
