NOVEMBER 8, 2005 -- A former Wilmington pilot is in fair condition after a plane crash in New Hampshire.
Seyler Schmidt was flying a small cargo plane Tuesday when the plane crashed into a Wal-Mart garden center about a mile from the Manchester
Airport officials say he experienced mechanical difficulty during take-off and was attempting to circle back and land at the airport when he crashed.
The Wal-Mart store was evacuated but no one on the ground was injured.
Schmidt had recently moved to Maine from Wilmington and has been flying for more than ten years.
