NOVEMBER 8, 2005 -- A former Wilmington pilot is in fair condition after a plane crash in New Hampshire.
Seyler Schmidt was flying a small cargo plane Tuesday when the plane crashed into a Wal-Mart garden center about a mile from the Manchester Airport.
Airport officials say he experienced mechanical difficulty during take-off and was attempting to circle back and land at the airport when he crashed.
The Wal-Mart store was evacuated but no one on the ground was injured.
Schmidt had recently moved to Maine from Wilmington and has been flying for more than ten years.
Through pain, the woman fought to tell her story, advising others in abusive relationships to get help.
