Heated Situation at Nesbitt Court Housing Complex

OCTOBER 25, 2005 -- The heat is finally on at a Wilmington housing complex.

Several residents of the Nesbitt Court Housing Complex called our newsroom Tuesday night, complaining that it was bitterly cold inside their apartments.

The Wilmington Housing Authority is responsible for maintenance at the complex. They say the heat is set to turn on when it hits 55 degrees, but the heat didn't come on when it should have.

Maintenance workers from the Wilmington Housing Authority checked it out after our phone calls on the matter. Once the problem was identified, crews got right to work to fix it.

They were able to fix the problem in a short period of time. The heat was turned on around 8:15 Tuesday night.
