Boy Injured in Possible Drive-by Shooting

SEPTEMBER 25, 2005 -- A teenage boy, shot in Wilmington, is making a recovery. The shooting happened near the corner of Ann Street and 14th Street, just after 8:00 Saturday night. Police say the 13-year-old was shot in the arm. He was taken to the hospital, but his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.Police say the boy had surgery to remove the bullet. They say it's possible the incident was a drive-by shooting. A small black car was seen leaving the area after the teenager was shot.
