A woman with Tabor City ties pleaded guilty Tuesday in a case involving the sexual assault of two young children.
According to WMBF, Lindsey Honeycutt pleaded guilty to two counts of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and two counts of unlawful conduct to a child.
Honeycutt, who listed addresses in Tabor City and Myrtle Beach, will be sentenced at a later date.
WMBF also is reporting that Panteleimon “Peter” Spirakis, 57, pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, criminal sexual conduct with a minor and engaging a child under 18 for sexual performance in the case. Spirakis was sentenced to 20 years in prison with no parole.
Ambrose E. Heavener and Anthony Strickland still face charges in the case. Heavener listed address in Tabor City and Conway at the time of his arrest.
According to arrest warrants, all four suspects reportedly engaged in sex acts - including intercourse - with the two 4-year-old victims between December 2014 and April 2015.
