MYRTLE BEACH. SC (WMBF) — A Myrtle Beach man currently on trial for sexually assaulting two young children is facing new accusations while appearing before a judge Monday.

Panteleimon “Peter” Spirakis, 57,  is charged with two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, criminal sexual conduct with a minor, and engaging a child under 18 for sexual performance.

A witness and co-defendant in the case, Lindsey Honeycutt, testified from the stand that Spirakis threatened her just outside the courtroom in the Horry County Government and Justice Center.

Lindsey Honeycutt: "He told me that if he even thought he was going to jail today that he would kill my whole family tonight."

Attorney: “Did he say anything else?”

Lindsey Honeycutt: “That the feds were going to come after me. I don’t know what he was talking about.”

Attorney: “Did anyone else hear him make these statements?”

Lindsey Honeycutt: “My 15 year old daughter did.”

Attorney: “Did he ever make threats to you in the past?”

Lindsey Honeycutt: “Yes he has.”

Attorney: “Can you tell me about that?”

Lindsey Honeycutt: “Numerous times he’s threatened me in the past.”

Honeycutt went on to say Spirakis has been threatening her family since bonding out in June.

Lindsey Honeycutt: "Oh in the last few weeks he's been calling my sister and my mom constantly saying that if I went through with this and told the truth he was not only going to kill my whole family, but also my mom and dad. He's been going up to my moms job. It's just been crazy."

Pre-trial motions were happening when Honeycutt notified officials of the threat. The judge has asked to see video from the waiting room.

Honeycutt, Ambrose Heavener and Anthony Strickland have also been charged in connection with the case.

According to arrest warrants, all four suspects allegedly engaged in sex acts - including intercourse - with the two 4-year old victims between December 2014 and April 2015.
