BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) - The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality will hold a public information session on the state's GenX investigation on Thursday, Aug. 30.
The event will be held at the Bladen County Cooperative Extension Center at 450 Smith Circle in Elizabethtown.
Officials say that the Division of Waste Management will present its latest data on the granulated activated carbon filter testing program.
The Division of Air Quality also will present information on Chemours' application to add a regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) to further reduce emissions.
The session is scheduled to run from 6-7:30 p.m.
