Leland police arrest 1, seek another on breaking and entering, larceny charges

LELAND, NC (WECT) - The Leland Police Department has arrested one man and is seeking another for breaking and entering, and larceny charges.

According to a news release from the police department, Koraun Dominic Thompson, 19, of Leland, was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with two counts each of breaking and entering, larceny from a construction site, and obtaining property by false pretense. The alleged break-in/larceny took place July 9 on Skylar Court in Leland.

Thompson is also facing similar charges from the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office.

He was booked in jail under a $76,000 bond.

Leland police have also issued arrest warrants for Thompson's co-conspirator, 20-year-old Christopher Quintezz Freeman of Leland, for two counts of breaking and entering and obtaining property by false pretense.
