Ride-sharing services have made transportation easier and one of the industry's leaders is hoping to do the same for the food delivery business.
UberEATS is launching in Wilmington on Thursday and will offer food delivery from more than 40 area restaurants.
Customers can download the UberEATS app, which is separate from the Uber rideshare app, or visit ubereats.com to use the service. You can log in with your Uber account.
Just place an order from the restaurant of your choice, tell UberEATS where to deliver and pay with your credit card on file.
Orders can be tracked from the time they're placed, picked up and delivered.
