Southern Trouble was expected to take the stage in Wrightsville Beach Park Thursday night to kick off the 2018 WECT Sounds of Summer concert series, but Mother Nature got in the way.
Rain prevented the band from performing during the concert series in 2017 and this year is looking to be no different. Fingers crossed the weather will cooperate for the rain date at the end of the summer.
Southern Trouble plays music ranging from contemporary country to country and southern rock.
According to the band's website, the group of five guys came together in March 2012 by chance and quickly gelled.
