UNCW keeps season alive with walk-off winner

GREENVILLE, NC (WECT) - Kep Brown delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the 14th inning to help UNCW down Ohio State 4-3 and stave off elimination in the College World Series.

The Seahawks (38-22) were anchored by Brown's team-high four hits and a strong showing from the pitching staff. Six pitchers combined to hold the Buckeyes  (36-24) to five hits. Blake Morgan picked up the win for UNCW with a clean 14th inning before Brown knocked in the winning run.

UNCW awaits the results the South Carolina-East Carolina game to find out its next opponent. The Seahawks will play the loser Sunday at noon.
