Cop camp gives children chance to interact positively with police

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

Your child can see what it’s like to protect and serve.

The Wilmington Police Department's Cop Camp runs one week in June and one week in July.

It is accepting applications.

Cop Camp gives children an opportunity to interact positively with law enforcement personnel. 

The first session of camp is scheduled for June 18-22. The second is scheduled for July 9-13.

Participants must be rising fourth and fifth grade students who live in New Hanover County.
