Bladen Co. deputies arrest man wanted for attempted murder in Cumberland Co.

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WECT) -

A man wanted for attempted murder in Cumberland County was arrested in Bladen County after a traffic stop Wednesday.

Jerry McDonald, 29, was charged with driving while license revoked by the Bladen County Sheriff's Office.

It was then discovered that McDonald had warrants out for his arrest on charges of attempted first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to the N.C. Department of Public Safety, McDonald has previous convictions for second-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon.
