Man wanted by Goldsboro police for child abuse arrested in New Hanover Co.

SOUTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA (WECT) -

A man wanted by the Goldsboro Police Department on child abuse charges was arrested in New Hanover County Friday afternoon.

Michael Allen Cornish, 28, is charged with felony child abuse with serious bodily injury. No other details about the incident are known.

Cornish is being held in the New Hanover County Jail under a $60,000 bond.
