WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Wilmington Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man it says is wanted in connection to the thefts of patio furniture from local restaurants.

According to a tweet from the WPD, the first larceny took place on Feb. 1 at Middle of the Island Catering on S. College Road. Approximately $2,000 in patio chairs were taken.

The second theft took place on March 11 at the Szechuan restaurant on S. College Road. Furniture valued at $350 was taken.

Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call the WPD at 910-343-3600 or use Text-A-Tip.
