A pair of former Wilmington high school standout helped lead the Boston Red Sox past the Chicago Cubs 4-2 at JetBlue Park in Lee County, Fla on Tuesday.
Former Laney standout Luke Tendler went 2-2 with a double and a run scored. Tendler closed out spring training battling .286.
Trevor Kelley, who played at Ashley High School pitched 1.1 scoreless inning picking up his first save. Kelley ended the spring with a 0.00 earned run average.
