Harrison, Ark (WECT) - Sixth-seeded Cape Fear Community College used a balanced scoring attack to beat 11th-seeded Kankakee Community College 95-71 in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association women's basketball tournament in Harrison, Ark., on Wednesday.

Andreal Bass led the Sea Devils with 16 points, A'Terria Quick chipped in 15 points and four CFCC players scored in double digits.

Cape Fear head coach Lori Drake was able to clear the bench as 14 players got playing time in the victory.

CFCC (23-5) will play third-seed Highland in the quarterfinals Wednesday at 7 p.m.
