Hutchinson, Kan (WECT) - Eleventh-seeded Hutchinson Community College used a strong second half to beat 22-seed Cape Fear Community College 84-60 in the first round of the National Junior College Athletic Association men's basketball tournament in Hutchinson, Kan., on Wednesday.

Cape Fear trailed 32-30 at halftime, but was outscored 52-30 in the second half.

Freshman Jalen Cameron led the Sea Devils with 16 points off the bench.

Cape Fear (21-12) lost the battle in the paint as the Blue Dragons outrebounded the Sea Devils 63-32.

It was CFCC's fifth trip to the NJCAA tournament.
