On Saturday, Downtown Business Alliance and Cool Wilmington will present a St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Wilmington that will impact traffic.
The parade starts at 11 a.m. at Red Cross and North Front, proceeds down Princess Street to Water Street and ends past the Federal Building.
Following the parade, there will be a festival in Riverfront Park between Market and Princess streets.
Roads are expected to reopen sometime after 6 p.m.
This is a free event that will including dancing, food and live music.
