MPD: Teen drags woman out of store, steals her purse

MOBILE, AL (WALA) -

UPDATE: MPD reports Demarious Hardy was booked into Moible County Metro Jail at 1:41 a.m. Thursday. He is charged with third-degree robbery.

Mobile Police need help finding a teenager accused of dragging a woman out of a store and stealing her purse. 

Investigators said Demarious Hardy was in Navco Community Outreach on Halls Mill Road when he grabbed a woman's purse. Detectives said he pulled the woman out of the business as he tried to get the purse from her. 

Police said she was able to identify Hardy because he was a regular customer. Hardy is 5'5" and 120 pounds.
