AUGUST 16, 2005 -- The town of Boiling Spring Lakes is getting a new water system and city hall thanks to some newly aquired federal money.
Congressman Mike McIntyre presented the check from Uncle Sam to the city Tuesday afternoon.
About $4.5-million of the federal loan will pay for a new water system. Another $1.5-million will pay for a new city hall. It will serve as a new home for the police department and other city operations.
