WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - You can honor America's heroes in many different ways this weekend.
The first annual Southeastern North Carolina Veterans Day parade will be on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Wilmington.
The parade starts at Cape Fear Community College and goes down Front Street before ending at the USO on Orange St..
Over 50 different organizations will participate in the parade from Step up for Soldiers to Pets for Vets.

Plantation Village will also host their 3rd annual Veterans Day event at the Battleship North Carolina on Friday.
The event starts at 11:00 a.m. and will honor the 87 veterans who call Plantation Village home, including 25 WWII veterans.
