BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - It's an opportunity for students to interact with adults and get advice.

Each Thursday, the Southport Oak Island Kiwanis Club holds its lunchtime "Listening Post" at South Brunswick Middle School.

Students can speak with Kiwanis volunteers during the program about any issue or concern he or she may have.

The Listening Post gives the students a chance to speak to someone who will listen and offer an outside perspective.
