A gang member who was sentenced to time in prison for assaulting a law enforcement officer in 2015 was arrested in Wilmington on Thursday.
According to a Wilmington Police Department news release, members of the Wilmington Police Gang Unit and WPD-FBI Gang Task Force arrested Kyeric Sweet, 24, of Wilmington, in the 1600 block of Dawson Street around 1:20 p.m. Thursday.
