One-stop voting for 2017 municipal elections in North Carolina will begin on Thursday, Oct. 19, and run through Saturday, Nov. 4. Area counties each have one location where voters can cast ballots before Election Day. WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

One-stop voting for 2017 municipal elections in North Carolina will begin on Thursday, Oct. 19, and run through Saturday, Nov. 4. Area counties each have one location where voters can cast ballots before Election Day.

State law allows citizens to register to vote during the one-stop voting time period. The applicant must complete requirements, which include filling out a voter registration application and showing proof of address in the county which they reside.
