Wilmington Restaurant Auctioned Off

JULY 19, 2005 -- From the table linens to the front door, the ingredients of a unique Wilmington restaurant have been sold to the highest bidder.

The Trails End Steakhouse has closed.  An auctioneer sold everything including silverware, skillets, knick knacks, and kitchen appliances.

The business has overlooked the Intracoastal Waterway for 40 years.

The restaurant will be torn down Monday morning to make way for condominiums.
