JULY 19, 2005 -- A longtime Wilmington City Councilman says he wants another term. Jim Quinn filed for re-election on Tuesday at the New Hanover County Board of Elections Office.
He was accompanied by his wife and several supporters.
Quinn has been a regular on the ballot.
This will be his 8th election since 1995.
This year, three city council seats are open. Mayor Spence Broadhurst is up for re-election.
Two other city council candidates have surfaced...challengers susan clark and patricia delair. Candidates have until August 5th to file their paperwork at the Board of Elections Office.
