JULY 12, 2005 -- A man accused of double murder is back in Wilmington, and he could eventually face the death penalty.

Stacey Lee Wynn faced a judge Tuesday for the murders of Lawrence Harrison and Damon Jones back in April.

Authorities arrested Wynn earlier this month at an apartment complex in Mullins, South Carolina after months of searching.

Wynn appeared calm at his first appearance. His mother was also inside the courtroom. Wynn asked for a court appointed attorney.

Assistant District Attorney Jon David said if Wynn is convicted, he could be sentenced to death row at the North Carolina State Prison in Raleigh.
