War Hero from Wilmington Meets with President Bush

JULY 11, 2005 -- President Bush took time out of his busy schedule to meet with a wounded veteran of the war in Iraq. Joey Bozik, along with his mother and wife, met with the President Bush.

North Carolina Senator Elizabeth Dole was also there in the Oval Office.

President Bush promised to putt some balls with Bozik on the front lawn of the White House when he is able to walk again.

Bozik is one of three triple amputees from the war in Iraq.

He is scheduled to undergo further surgery on his injured leg around the middle of August.
