Changes in Local Community Could Keep Kids Safe

JUNE 29, 2005 -- The Wilmington Housing Authority is making some changes designed to keep residents safer.

In December, News 6 reported about wire clotheslines at the Nesbitt Court complex. Some residents said they were dangerous, and a young girl had tripped on one and injured her neck.

Now those old wire clotheslines are coming down. They're replaced by a new version that is sturdier and less likely to trip up children.
