Two arrested on drug charges in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, NC (WECT) -

A man and a woman were arrested on Friday in Elizabethtown after police found them with marijuana.

Arlene Rhoda and Tracy Custis were booked into the Bladen County Jail on charges of possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to sell/deliver controlled substances, maintaining a vehicle to sell/deliver controlled substances and manufacture marijuana. They each were given $60,000 bonds.

According to a news release, at around 7 a.m., Elizabethtown Police and members of the Bladen County Sheriff's Department searched a residence in the 400 block of South Lower Street in Elizabethtown after receiving complaints of possible drug activity. Officers seized 125.8 grams of marijuana under a bed in the residence and found another 5.6 grams in a vehicle on the property along with $448. 

Rhoda and Custis were arrested on narcotics charges at the same address in August 2016.
