Two face charges after drug bust in Shallotte

SHALLOTTE, NC (WECT) -

A man and woman face multiple drug charges after the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office's Vice Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a Shallotte home Thursday.

Alisha Marie Williams, 21, and Khiry Devon Hamilton, 27, each were charged with:

  • possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin
  • possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver cocaine
  • possession of drug paraphernalia
  • two counts of trafficking opium or heroin
  • possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce

 According to arrest warrants, heroin, marijuana, wax bindles, digital scales and a grinder were found during a search of Hamilton's house on Little Court.

Hamilton, whose bond was set at $750,000, has previous convictions for drug possession in 2014 and 2016.

Williams' bond is set at $250,000.
