NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) - When parents choose to adopt, many times, they want a younger child.
That's led to an increase in the number of children aging out of foster care with some never finding a family.
North Carolina has seen a 10 percent increase in the number of teens aging out of foster care.
