MOUNT PLEASANT, South Carolina - Evan Sisk and Tucker White combined to shutout UNCW, 2-0, as the College of Charleston clinched a series win on Saturday at Patriots Point.
The Cougars pick up their second straight win to run their record to12-15 overall and 4-1 in the league. For UNCW, it was the fourth consecutive loss as the Seahawks dipped to 11-14 and 2-3.
Sisk tossed 6.2 scoreless innings to improve to 3-0. Sisk walked four, allowed six hits and struck out two. White earned his first save of the season by striking out six of the nine batters he faced.
UNCW's Logan Beehler (1-4) took the loss after allowing two runs over 7.1 innings, a season-high for a Seahawk pitcher.
Ervin Roper finished with two hits and drove in a run for CofC.
Brian Mims had the lone multi-hit game for the Seahawks, going 2-for-3.
Up next: The series concludes on Sunday with a 1 p.m. start.
How it happened: Charleston opened the scoring in the third inning, taking a 1-0 lead on a wild pitch. CofC would push it to 2-0 when McRae doubled in a run with two outs in the fifth.

Notes: The Seahawks were blanked for the first time this season and the first since a 3-0 loss at Northeastern in 2016 ...
