Don't let Daylight Saving Time disrupt your children's sleep schedule

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - This weekend, don't forget to spring forward.

On March 12 at 2 a.m., move your clocks forward one hour for Daylight Saving Time.

You'll want to start preparing your children now because the time change can disrupt their sleep.

Certified Child Sleep Consultant Breni Malpass shared some tips on helping your kids adjust on WECT News First at Four.

Her tips include moving your child's bedtime by 15 minute increments leading up to Daylight Saving Time and sticking to a bedtime routine (bath, snack, bedtime story).
