WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -
Legendary musician David Crosby is touring to promote his new album, Lighthouse. He performed in Wilmington Wednesday evening with some of the musicians who collaborated with him on the project.
Crosby is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and co-founder of the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
"This is who I've been the whole time," he said of his newest album, "I've always loved acoustic music and I've always treasured really good songs."
Crosby is on tour with two-time Grammy winner Michael League of Snarky Puppy, jazz vocalist Becca Stevens of Winston-Salem and songstress Michelle Willis. Together, the group combines acoustic guitars, piano and vocal harmonies.
Crosby called them "a dream team of musicians."
He said the band will perform music from Lighthouse and bring his old classics to life in a new way.
"I'm tooting my own horn here, but it's a good band," he said.
