Wilmington police respond to domestic assault on Orange St.

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

A man was taken to the hospital after he was stabbed during a domestic assault in Wilmington Thursday afternoon.

According to New Hanover County Dispatch, the incident was called in at 3:20 p.m. in the area of South 17th and Orange streets. 

Police at the scene said the assault took place between two houses in the 1700 block of Orange Street.

A Wilmington Police Department spokesperson said the incident was between two men and one of the men stabbed the other.

The victim was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment. Their condition is not known at this time.
