First at Four: The Christmas Train and Light Spectacular to be held at local railroad museum

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

If you ever asked Santa for a model train for Christmas then you definitely need to check out The Christmas Train and Light Spectacular that will take place at the Wilmington Railroad Museum.

The event will take place every Friday and Saturday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. now through Dec. 23 with two encore performances Monday, Dec. 26 and Friday, Dec. 30.

The great show of trains and lights will bring the spirit of the season to all and includes the sounds and lights of Christmas with the trains running through the winter wonderland. Santa will be waiting to talk with the children along with ciders and cookies for all. 

The annual reading of the Polar Express will be held Dec. 3,10,11,17 and 18. Two presentations will be held each day. The first one at 4:30 p.m. and one at 5:30 p.m. Space is very limited so be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible. 

Each reading will be followed by a visit from Santa and hot chocolate. 

Tickets are $5 a person for The Christmas Train and Light Spectacular and the Polar Express reading, children under 2 are free.
