Tree lighting ceremony includes Santa, dancers and 'Home Alone'

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

Santa Claus will make an appearance at Greenfield Lake Park Thursday night as part of the annual tree lighting ceremony.

The event is free and open to the public and will take place next to the amphitheater.

Performances by dancers with Wilmington Conservatory of Fine Arts will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by the tree lighting at 6 p.m. and a special visit from Santa.

Home Alone will be shown at the amphitheater at 7 p.m. on a first come, first served basis for seating. 

Hot and cold beverages and snacks will be available for sale.
