Two Killed, Two Injured in Wallace Shooting

MAY 22, 2005 -- Two people are dead and two others are in serious condition after a shooting in Wallace.

The people killed in the shooting are from Wilmington. Jose Shaw, 24, and Donald Harrison, 29, were killed in the incident.

Police believe there were three shooters. Authorities believe that Shaw and Harrison were two of the shooters.

Police say they have identified the third shooter. He is not in police custody at this time.

The incident happened at the National Guard Armory in Wallace about 3:00 Sunday morning. About 350 people were inside the building for a party when a fight broke out. The fight led to gun fire inside the building.

Police say two innocent bystanders were injured.

The names of the injured have not been released. One was taken to Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Another was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

The shooting is still under investigation.
