MAY 19, 2005 -- Wayne Bradley, one of the most well-known local broadcast voices, was found dead Wednesday. Early reports suggest the TV and radio personality died suddenly.

It has come as quite a shock to his friends and co-workers. Bradley was the kind of person that if you didn't know him, chances are you knew of him.

He was the main anchor for Time Warner's Cape Fear Now. He was dedicated to the program. That's why when he didn't show up for work Wednesday, his co-workers knew something was wrong.

Tragically, Bradley's girlfriend found him dead at his home.

Bradley was best know for his work with smooth jazz on the radio. He also hosted a golf show and was a host on 106.7 The Penquin.

Cape Fear Now was on schedule to be around for a long time. Unfortunately Wayne Bradley won't be here to see it.  He's gone in his early fifties but never forgotten.
