Business goes up in flames, no one injured in massive fire

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WECT) -

A building belonging to a restaurant cleaning business was destroyed Sunday by a fire.

The building, which once housed a cabinet shop, is located at 260 Charlie Williamson Road in Columbus County.

At least 20 different fire departments were called to the scene shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday.

Smoke could be seen from miles away.

No one was inside when the fire started, and no injuries have been reported.
