Jessica highlighted several trends that are popular this fall during the show and LIVE on Facebook.
Today, Attorney General Roy Cooper offered the following advice for North Carolina families and teachers when it comes to shopping for the school year:
- Have your shopping list ready in advance. Make sure you know the sizes, quantities and types of items you need. This will help you save money and time.
- Shop around. Promotions and coupons are available for back-to-school items. Be sure to compare prices to be sure you’re getting a good deal.
- Shop safely online. Stick to well-established retailers. Make sure the website starts with “https” to make sure it is secure.
- Learn about refund and return policies before you shop. Stores aren’t required by law to accept returned items, so ask about those policies before you buy.
