WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The Cape Fear Memorial Bridge and downtown Wilmington can be seen in a new trailer released for Max Steel.
The movie was filmed in 2014 in Wilmington.
The movie follows the adventures of Max McGrath, a 16-year-old loner who teams up with an alien companion, Steel, to fight mysterious forces threatening the world.
It is a live-action version of the popular Mattel character.
Ben Winchell plays Max McGrath in the movie.

It also stars Academy-Award nominee Andy Garcia and Ana Villafane.
Villafane explained during an interview while on the set that her family was excited for her to star in a movie with Garcia.
"My mother found out and just squealed! She is a major fan," Villafane said. "And he's just such an iconic figure and such a brilliant actor so on that level, it is already exciting."
The movie filmed scenes at Hoggard High School and an old cement plant in Castle Hayne.
The film is expected to be released this fall.
