WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) -

Add a little magic to your child’s life.

This weekend, the No Sleeves Magic group is hosting a show at the Main Library in downtown Wilmington.

The show, Pirates Have Problems, is a swashbuckling slapstick adventure, according to Michael Rosander (aka Capt Beardblack) who is with No Sleeves Magic.

He joined us on WECT News First at Four to talk about the event and show off some of his tricks.

The show will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, at the library, located at 201 Chestnut Street.

No Sleeves Magic also holds a magic camp for children.

Rosander explained that through magic, the camp helps children build character, self-esteem, and the social skills that are essential in the world today.

“We love the fact that magic can pull children away from the television and challenge them to use their problem solving skills to figure out the secrets,” Rosander said.
